Fish Crows

These have flocked here in clusters by the hundreds. They are smaller than our usual crows and make a different caw. Fascinating to see, but local bird watchers have concerns. It seems they are devouring the food supply of local and migratory birds. These images are from a local bird watcher. While out walking I counted a conservative 200 in trees over a cemetery. The open areas are frequented by hawks and the shrubs by many small species.

Does look like The Birds. This is the road to Telegraph Hill, where the East Chop lighthouse sits, Oak Bluffs, MA.
